History
The picturesque building has a long and proud history behind it. The historical building was originally built in Brookston, PA around 1888 as a Lutheran Church. As the lumber industry moved out of the area, the church became vacant. In 1919, the church was dismantled in sections and moved by railroad to Starbrick, PA, where it was reassembled. The quaint church still has the original bell in the steeple, which children enjoy ringing.
When the Emmanuel Baptist Church, on Weiler Road, closed in 2005, the Starbrick Community Church congregation moved to the Weiler Road building. This left an empty building with bills still needing to be paid. After much prayer, the Lord gave Rev. Don Wells an inspiration, in the middle of the night, to turn the little red church building into an Amish Outlet. The idea received wide-spread support from the community. The Amish Outlet and Crafts opened it's doors for business on August 24, 2007.

Attention Crafters!
The Amish Outlet and Crafts is always looking for quality craftsmen and artists. The only requirement is that all items must be handcrafted in the United States. Products from craftsmen are sold on a consignment basis, with a very low mark-up. Craftsmen can simply drop off their products, set up their display, and leave with peace of mind, knowing that someone is watching over their products.
The area surrounding the church is rented out to crafters, who have an interest in selling hand-crafted items. For a small fee, crafters can set up a table outside the church and catch the attention of shoppers, as they come and go. Whether inside or outside, the Amish Outlet and Crafts is a great opportunity for local crafters to sell their products. Come join us!
